Simon Winchester presents a history of American infrastructure.  The author, a newly naturalized U.S. citizen, follows in the footsteps of those who aided in the geographical unification of the country; from Lewis and Clark's exploration of the America West to civil engineer Thomas MacDonald's creation of the Interstate Highway System.  Simon Winchester speaks at the Boswell Book Company in Milwaukee.
