About the Authors

Thomas Sowell

Thomas Sowell is the Rose and Milton Friedman Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution.  Mr. Sowell previously taught economics at Cornell University, Amherst College, and the University of California at Los Angeles.  He was awarded the National Humanities Medal in 2002 and the Bradley Prize in 2003.  Thomas Sowell's books include “Trickle Down Theory and Tax Cuts for the Rich” and "Race and Culture."
