About the Program
Dina Hampton profiles three graduates of the Little Red School House & Elisabeth Irwin High School, a school in New York City synonymous with progressive politics. Angela Davis, Tom Hurwitz, and Elliot Abrams graduated from the school in the 1960's and each played a role in the politics of the day; Davis in the Black Power movement, Hurwitz in the student occupation of Columbia University, and Abrams as part of the neoconservative movement. Dina Hampton speaks at Corner Bookshop in New York City.
