Gordon Mantler, associate director in the Thompson Writing Program at Duke University, recounts the Poor People's Campaign of 1968.  The author examines the antipoverty effort, organized by Martin Luther King, Jr., and the relationship between African-Americans and Mexican-Americans within the movement.  Gordon Mantler speaks at Regulator Bookshop in Durham, North Carolina.
