About the Program
Mr. Whitacre's memoir tells the story of a small-town Texan who rose through the ranks of business to lead one of the nation's largest telecommunications companies. He goes on to detail his time working for the Obama administration after the government bailout of General Motors. Mr. Whitacre also offers solutions to help restore the U.S. economy.
