David Roll recounts the life and career of Harry Hopkins, advisor and friend to President Franklin D. Roosevelt.  Hopkins, who did not have an official title in the Roosevelt administration, was a confidante to the President, who assisted in establishment of the New Deal and communications between Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin during World War II.  David Roll speaks at Politics & Prose Bookstore in Washington, D.C.
