About the Program
From a conference on the 60th anniversary of the publication of Whittaker Chambers' Witness a panel entitled "Without Anti-Communism: What Defines Conservatives Today?" The event is moderated by James Piereson, director, Center for the American University, Manhattan Institute. The conference is held at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
Alfred Regnery is the publisher of the American Spectator magazine and the former president and publisher of Regnery Publishing, Inc.
Norman Podhoretz is the author of numerous books, including My Love Affair with America: The Cautionary Tale of a Cheerful Conservative. He is an editor-at-large at Commentary magazine and an adjunct fellow at the Hudson Institute.
Peter Berkowitz is the author of several books, including Constitutional Conservatism: Liberty, Self-Government, and Political Moderation. He is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution.
