About the Program
From the International Summit of the Book, a panel entitled, "Using Lessons of the Past to Guide the Future" featuring Karen Keninger, director of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, Thomas Mallon, director of the Creative Writing Program at George Washington University, and Fenella France, chief, Preservation, Restoration & Test Division, Library of Congress. The panel is moderated by Michael Suarez, English professor and director of the Rare Book School, University of Virginia. The International Summit of the Book is hosted by the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C
