About the Program
"Patriots Debate" is an American Bar Association book that looks at different legal arguments on national security law. During this event, a co-editor of the book and four contributors debate the topics of cyberwarfare and the future of military detention. This event was hosted by the American Bar Association at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
Harvey Rishikof
Harvery Rishikof is chair of the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Law and Security. He is a former professor of law and national security studies at the National Defense University. Mr. Rishikof is the co-author of "The National Security Enterprise."

Charles Dunlap, Jr.
Retired Air Force Major General Charles J. Dunlap, Jr., is a professor of law at Duke University. He served as deputy judge advocate general of the Air Force from 2006 to 2010.
Stewart Baker

Stephen Vladeck
Stephen Vladeck is a professor of law and associate dean for scholarship at American University. He served on the legal team that argued against the use of military tribunals at Guantanamo in Hamdan v. Rumsfeld. Prof. Vladeck is a senior editor of the Journal of National Security Law and Policy.
Gregory Jacob
Gregory Jacob is a partner at O'Melveny & Myers LLP. He previously served in the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel and as a special assistant to President George W. Bush.
