Wayne Karlin talked to Book TV about his book, "Wandering Souls," which is an account of a U.S. soldier's return to Vietnam to return a notebook he took from a North Vietnamese soldier he had killed during the war.  This interviewed was recorded on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, host of the annual Fall for the Book festival.

Wayne Karlin

Wayne Karlin is a professor of languages and literature at the College of Southern Maryland.  He served with the Marines in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967.  Prof. Karlin's books include "Rumors and Stones" and "War Movies."
