Education activist Jonathon Kozol reports on a selection of inner-city children he has followed since the ages of six to eight years old as they traverse their young adult lives.  The author revisits his earlier books, Rachel and Her Children and Amazing Grace, and examines the economic and educational obstacles that each child has faced as they progress through their school system.  Jonathan Kozol speaks at Sidwell Friends School Meeting House in Washington, D.C.
