Mark Skousen, co-founder of FreedomFest, one of the largest libertarian conferences in the U.S., talked to Book TV about the Fest and his book, "The Making of Modern Economics." The interview took place in Bally's Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, where the conference was held.

Mark Skousen is the editor in chief of Forecasts & Strategies, an investment newsletter. Mr. Skousen, a former analyst for the CIA and professor at Columbia University, currently teaches economics at Sing Sing Prison (though a program run by Mercy College). His many books include "Econopower" and "Maxims of Wall Street."
