About the Program
Auma Obama Magak is the only living sister of Barack Obama, Sr., and the only living full paternal aunt of President Obama. She lives in a small hut in the Kenyan village of Oyugis (YEW-guss) and sells charcoal from a roadside stand. David Maraniss interviewed her in January 2010.
Much of this video is in the Luo language, but you can see Aunt Auma (OW-muh) in her home and at her charcoal stand.
