"White House Burning: The Founding Fathers, Our National Debt, and Why It Matters to You"

Simon Johnson; James Kwak

About the Program

Simon Johnson and James Kwak talk about the history of U.S. debt and the impact it will have on future generations.  They also argue that we can solve our debt problems without implementing massive cuts in Social Security and Medicare benefits.  The co-authors spoke at Harvard Book Store in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
