Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers from 1975 to 1989, is the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.  On January 18, 2012, he was appointed to the position of U.S. Cultural Ambassador by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.  Mr. Abdul-Jabbar's other books include “On the Shoulders of Giants” and “Black Profiles in Courage.”  For more, visit:  kareemabduljabbar.com.
