About the Program
From the 2012 National Black Writers Conference, a panel discussion entitled, "The Role of Social Media: Black Writers Take Literature to the Web." The panelists, include Angela Dodson, content manager, Kweli Journal, Troy Johnson, founder and webmaster, The African American Literature Book Club, Montague Kobbe, writer and blogger, Akoto Ofori-Atta, assistant editor, The Root, Laura Pegram, founding editor, Kweli Journal, and Joel Dreyfuss, senior editor-at-large, The Root. The panel is moderated by Grace Aneiza Ali, founder and editorial director, of note and is hosted by Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, New York.
