"Finance and the Good Society"

Robert Shiller

About the Program

Robert Shiller, a New York Times columnist and Yale University economics professor, argues that while Wall Street financial firms should be criticized for their role in the 2008 collapse, it is now necessary to figure out a way to harness the power of the financial sector to advance the public good.  This event was hosted by the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco.
