About the Authors

John Yoo

John Yoo is a professor of law at University of California - Berkeley.  He served as assistant attorney general in the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel from 2001 to 2003.  He is the author of "Crisis and Command: A History of Executive Power from George Washington to George W. Bush" and "War by Other Means: An Insider's Account of the War on Terror."
