About the Program
From the 2012 Tucson Festival of Books, a panel discussion entitled, "Emerging from the Shadows: Women in the Lives of Wilson, Jefferson, and Twain." The panelists include, Kristie Miller, Ellen and Edith: Woodrow Wilson's First Ladies, Virginia Scharff, The Women Jefferson Loved, and Laura Skandera Trombley, Mark Twain's Other Woman: The Hidden Story of His Final Years. The panel is moderated by Judy Nolte Temple, women's studies professor, University of Arizona.
