David Campbell, political science professor at Notre Dame University, examines the current state of religious observance and interfaith relationships in the United States and how it has changed over the past fifty years.  The author specifically focuses on the reaction to Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's Mormonism and presents his thoughts on what it says about religious tolerance today.   David Campbell speaks at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

David Campbell is an associate professor of political science and director of the Rooney Center for the Study of American Democracy at Notre Dame University.  He is the co-author of American Grace with Robert Putnam.
