"While America Sleeps: A Wake-Up Call for the Post-9/11 Era"

Russ Feingold

About the Program

Former Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) appeared on C-SPAN's Washington Journal to talk about his new book and take viewer questions.  In the book, "While America Sleeps," Sen. Feingold presents his thoughts on the political and social obstacles facing the United States in the world today.  Mr. Feingold, who served in the U.S. Senate for eighteen years and sat on the Intelligence, Judiciary, Foreign Relations, and Budget Committees, argues that America’s foreign policy since the September 11 attacks has been flawed and says that the public has been fed an oversimplified version of reality by our government and media.
