About the Program
In "The Swing Vote," Ms. Killian speaks with members of the most powerful electorate block in the United States: independents. She argues that forty percent of voters identify as members of the group that has decided every election since World War II. That group, she says, is anything but divided. She discusses the greatest frustrations and concerns of independents and the power she believes they'll have in the 2012 election with editor-in-chief of Democracy Journal, Michael Tomasky.
