Ben Carson is a professor and director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.  He is the author of several books, including Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story.  Mr. Carson is the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and co-founder of the Carson Scholars Fund.
