"American Avatar: The United States in the Global Imagination"

Barry Sanders

About the Program

Barry Sanders examines how people around the world view the United States.  He argues that the commonly held belief that the rest of the world has developed a negative view of the U.S. since 9/11 is wrong and that people's feelings about this country are complicated.  Hosted by Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena, California.
