Bentsen Jr. Chair in Government/Business Relations and Professor of Government at the University of Texas at Austin.  He is the former executive director of the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress.  Prof. Galbraith's books include “Created Unequal: The Crisis in American Pay” and “Unbearable Cost: Bush, Greenspan and the Economics of Empire.”
