Daniel Yergin is chairman of IHS Cambridge Energy Research Associates and serves as CNBC's global energy expert. He is the author of "The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money, and Power," which was awarded the Pulitzer Prize and the Eccles Prize and was made into an eight-part PBS series. He is also the author of "Shattered Peace" and co-author of "Energy Future" and "Russia 2010."
