Benjamin Runkle

About the Program

Benjamin Runkle, professional staff member of the House Armed Services Committee, presents a history of manhunts launched by the American military and intelligence agencies.  Mr. Runkle reports that since 1885 the United States has ordered the military to capture or kill a wanted individual close to a dozen times.  The author recounts numerous campaigns, including the death of Osama bin Laden, which ended the longest manhunt in American history.  Benjamin Runkle speaks at the Tattered Cover Bookstore in Denver.
