About the Program
In his latest book, legal scholar Randall Kennedy explores the influence of racial politics on the administration of the first African American president. Some of the questions he attempts to answer are: whether black Americans feel obligated to support the Obama presidency, whether they have special expectations of Mr. Obama, and whether the president should feel a unique racial obligation to his most loyal constituency.
