Michael Brown is the former director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, who served from 2003 to 2005. He is the former Under Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security's Emergency Preparedness & Response Directorate and served as the U.S. Representative to NATO's Civil Emergency Planning Committee. Mr. Brown currently contributes to The National Journal, The Huffington Post, and The Daily Caller. He is the host of the talk radio program, The Michael Brown Show.
