Jorge Castaneda discusses the political and economic state of Mexico, including the drug market violence and the controversy over immigration, from the floor of Book Expo America.
Mr. Castaneda was Mexico’s foreign minister from 2000 to 2003, and is now Global Distinguished Professor of Politics and Latin American Studies at New York University. He's a former professor of political science at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and was a visiting professor at Princeton University and the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Castaneda is the author of several books, including "Utopia Unarmed," and "Campanero."
