About the Authors

Connie Mariano

Connie Mariano served as White House physician from 1992 to 2001, she was the first female director of the White House Medical Unit.  Dr. Mariano is a Navy Rear Admiral (Retired) who served for twenty-four years.  She currently runs the Center for Executive Medicine in Scottsdale, Arizona.  For more information, visit conniemariano.com.

Gloria Feldt

Gloria Feldt is the former president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she served from 1996-2005.  She currently teaches at Arizona State University and serves on the board of the Women's Media Center.  For more information, visit gloriafeldt.com.
