Siddhartha Mukherjee, staff cancer physician at Columbia University Medical Center, presents a history of cancer.  The author recounts the earliest documentation of the disease, profiles the first patients that received radiation and chemotherapy treatments, and remembers the American government's "war against cancer" launched thirty years ago.  Siddhartha Mukherjee speaks at Kepler's Books in Menlo Park, California.  Siddhartha Mukherjee was the winner of the 2011 Pulitzer Prize in General Nonfiction.
