The New Holy Wars: Economic Religion vs. Environmental Religion in Contemporary America

Robert Nelson

About the Program

Robert Nelson argues that environmentalism and economics are the leading secular religions in the U.S. today.  He says that this becomes obvious when one looks at the debate over global warming.  During this event hosted by the Independent Institute, he is joined by Steven Hayward of the American Enterprise Institute and Max Stackhouse of the Princeton Theological Seminary.
