About the Authors

Richard Holmes

Richard Holmes is the author of several books, including Footsteps: Adventures of a Romantic Biographer and Coleridge: Darker Reflections.  Mr. Holmes is a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and the British Academy.  He was formerly a biographical studies professor at the University of East Anglia.
