Fatima Bhutto, niece of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, talks about growing up in a family of powerbrokers.  Ms. Bhutto also chronicles the fate of many of her close relatives, including her own father, who were assassinated by political opponents.  Benazir Bhutto was sworn in as prime minister of Pakistan on December 2, 1988.

Fatima Bhutto is the author of Whispers of the Desert and 8.50 a.m. 8 October 2005.  Her father, Murtaza Bhutto, a member of Pakistan's parliament, was killed by Pakistani police in 1996.  For more, visit:
