About the Program

Six librarians from throughout the country discuss their picks for what they deem the best upcoming titles from university presses.  The panelists include, Hilary Albert, Mahopac Public Library (Mahopac, NY), Judi Repman, Georgia Southern University (Statesboro, GA), Teri Maggio, Assumption Parish Library (Napoleonville, LA), Jo Ann Carr, University of Wisconsin-Madison MERIT Library (Madison, WI), Nann Blaine Hilyard, Zion-Benton Public Library (Zion, IL), and Sabrina Carnesi, Crittenden Middle School (Newport News, VA).  The event is moderated by Kim Miller, Marketing and Membership Coordinator for the Association of American University Presses.  The event was part of the annual librarian's convention hosted by the American Librarian Association held in Washington, DC.

Nann Blaine Hilyard of Zion-Benton Public Library (IL) presents: "The Great Empires of the Ancient World;" "The Princeton Encylopedia of American Political History;" and "Empire of Liberty," "Bigfoot: The Life and Times of a Legend," "Together, Alone: A Memoir of Marriage and Place."

Sabrina Carnesi of Crittenden Middle School (VA) presents: "Ice Cream U;" "Jade Visions;" and "Shooting Stars of the Small Screen."
