Ending the War in Afghanistan: A Primer

Phyllis Bennis

About the Program

Phyllis Bennis argues that the United States entrance into Afghanistan after September 11 and the idea that the war on terror is a "good war" is false.  She questions the Bush administration's militaristic plans in Afghanistan and Iraq claiming they were made under the auspice of fear and criticizes the current decisions in Afghanistan made by the Obama administration.  Phyllis Bennis discusses her book at Busboys & Poets in Washington, DC.
