About the Program

Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz talks about the 2008 economic collapse in the U.S. and its affect on the global economy.  Prof. Stiglitz argues that we need to change the incentives in our economic system and that government oversight is required for the economy to function properly.    

He's interviewed by Lori Wallach, director of Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch.  Ms. Wallach is the co-author of "Whose Trade Organization?: A Comprehensive Guide to the WTO."
