In summer 2008, the Cohens conducted a forum on race relations in America with a long list of participants. That forum is encapsulated in their book, which they discuss with Congressman, civil rights activist and forum participant John Lewis of Georgia.

Janet Langhart Cohen

Mrs. Cohen is author, playwright, and Emmy-nominated journalist.  Her books include "From Rage to Reason," and "Love in Black and White," which she co-authored with her husband.

William Cohen

William Cohen served as Secretary of Defense from 1997 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton's administration. This marked the first time in American history that a president appointed a member of the opposing party to his cabinet. In addition, Mr. Cohen is a lawyer and was a member of the U.S. Senate and Congress for twenty-four years.
