The Checklist Manifesto: How to Get Things Right

Atul Gawande

About the Program

Using vignettes from around the world, the author and surgeon shows how something as simple as a checklist can produce positive results. The author's emphasis is on the surgery checklist, which he says has reduced complications in surgeries in one third of the places where it's been used - at no additional cost.
