About the Program

Andro Linklater recalls the life of James Wilkinson (1757-1825) the youngest general in the Continental Army and aide to Bendict Arnold who revealed his superior's secret allegiance.  Wilkinson would later assume a similar life in espionage, known as Agent 13 for the Spanish Secret Service, he intended to keep the United States from expanding past the Mississippi River all the while receiving support from four American presidents.  Andro Linklater discusses his book at Politics & Prose Bookstore in Washington, D.C.
