About the Program

Harry Stein uses humor to describe being a conservative locked in a community of liberals, both in his neighborhood and in his professional life.  He details the difficulties he's had with family members since crossing the political spectrum from left wing to right, and he talks about being misrepresented as a racist by the Dallas Morning News.  The interview was conducted by author and journalist Stefan Kanfer.

Harry Stein

Harry Stein is the author of seven books, including "Ethics and Other Liabilities" and "How I Accidentally Joined the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy." He is also the author of six screenplays and has helped mold several publications including Esquire Magazine. Mr. Stein has also written articles for the New York Times Magazine and the Wall Street Journal.
