About the Program
Author and historian John Ferling will be our guest for In Depth on Sunday, July 5 (LIVE from George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate from Noon to 3pm ET). Mr. Ferling is the author of ten books, including A Leap in the Dark: The Struggle to Create the American Republic that was the recipient of the 2004 Fraunces Tavern Book Award for best book on the American Revolution and his most recently published title The Ascent of George Washington: The Hidden Political Genius of an American Icon. John Ferling is professor emeritus at the University of West Georgia where he taught for thirty-three years.
