About the Program

2004 Nobel Peace Prize recipient Wangari Maathai talks about her book, "The Challenge for Africa."  In the book, Ms. Maathai looks at the problems facing the continent and provides advice on how to improve things there.  She is interviewed by Nicole Lee, executive director of TransAfrica Forum.  Ms. Maathai passed away on September 25, 2011.
